Laundry Project: To complete the construction of a 10,000-man post laundry. Completion of this laundry consisted of installation of utilities and some miscellaneous carpentry work. Maintenance of certain roads. Description: In addition to the maintenance of Colonial Route No.1 the regiment was charged with the maintenance of certain secondary roads on the island. The total mileage of these secondary roads was approximately forty miles.
