0 = no reply to another posting or reply is superficial
1 = reply does not demonstrate critical thinking or is off-topic
2 = reply incomplete, but does demonstrate some critical thinking
3 = reply complete, but does not add anything new to discussion
4 = reply well thought out, demonstrates critical thinking, adds to discussion
Note: This is multiplied by three for each discussion topic
since three replies are required and this only covers 1 reply. |
Check your spelling and grammar when making postings.
The Learning Skills Center can help with written assignments such as
these discussions. The abilty to communicate clearly and professionally
is very important. To reinforce that concept, points will be deducted
for poor spelling and grammar. After calculating a grade for the
discussion assignment, up to 10 points may be deducted for spelling and
grammar problems. |
