A question was raised at the advisory committee meeting about what the programs and courses at NIU were. The following links have information taken from the NIU website on 2016-10-28 that is intended to answer that question.
As you look at the courses, it is important to keep in mind that Kishwaukee College offers courses at the 100 and 200 levels. It is rare for a university to accept articulation for courses above that level from a two-year school. If you look at the Computer Science program at NIU, you can see that there are only two required Computer Science courses in that range. They are CSCI 240 and CSCI 241. These are their C++ programming courses, which are the equivalent of Kishwaukee's CIS 150 and CIS 250 courses (which NIU does accept for transfer).
