CIS 115 - Create and post a website

This assignment involves creating and posting a website. Create a web page using proper HTML5. The web site should tell us something about you. If you are a very private person, you may fabricate your details. This is intended to be a brief web page - not a complete biography.

The assignment requirements are given in the rubric at the end of this page. Ask the instructor when you need help with creating or posting your web page. Basic instructions will be covered in class.

• Web page is properly posted on the server (5 points)
• Web page uses correct HTML5 (8 points)
• Web page contains at least two heading elements (2 points)
• Web page contains at least one working image element (2 points)
• Web page contains at least one working text hyperlink (2 points)
• Web page contains a list with at least three list items (4 points)
• Web page contains at least one paragraph element (2 points)
• Web page contains HTML comments at the start of the source code with your name, the course, the assignment number, and the date (2 points)
• Web page contains no spelling or grammar errors (3 points)
